Martin finished with 22 points, seven in the final eight minutes of the game, and grabbed 13 rebounds.Tennessee State (4-0) shot 51.1 percent for the game, knocking down 24 of 47 shots from the field, including 3 of 9 from long range.Jacorey Williams led the Blue Raiders with 18 points on 8 of 15 shooting from the field. Reggie Upshaw added 13 points.Middle Tennessee (2-1) shot 42.9 percent from the field (24 of 56) and was 8 of 22 from distance. President of baseball operations Larry Beinfest was fired Friday after 12 years with the Marlins. The move came as the team neared the end of its third consecutive last-place season in the NL East. Jimmy Rollins Jersey . The Montreal Canadiens announced on Friday that the veteran forward will return to the teams line-up on Saturday night when the Habs visit the Nashville Predators. Jose Alvarez Jersey . Philadelphia is 2-0 against the Senators this season and scored five goals in each victory. The Flyers recorded a 5-0 win in Ottawa on Nov. 12 and then earned a 5-2 home decision on Nov. 19. The Flyers have claimed three straight and four of the last five encounters with the Sens overall and Philly has won two in a row and three of its past four tests in Canadas capital city. KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- It seems that nobody is quite certain of the etymology of the term red zone, though many give credit to former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs for coining the term for the area inside an opponents 20-yard line. The Chiefs probably have their own choice words for it.Many of them unsuitable for print. For all the warts that dot their inconsistent offense, their baffling inability to score touchdowns when they get into the red zone may be the ugliest. And it is even more pronounced when stacked up next to Tennessee, which visits Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, and just happens to be one of the best teams in the league at converting those opportunities into seven points.Everyone from Chiefs coach Andy Reid to quarterback Alex Smith has tried to pinpoint the trouble, and they generally agree that its a combination of play-calling, execution and simple unluckiness.Weve been very good in the red zone at times, too, Reid insisted, almost as if he was trying to convince himself along with everyone else. Theyre all different. Everything is different down there, from the defenses that are played to each situation where you havent had success. So you go back and evaluate it, Reid said, and you come back again and give it your best shot. There are inherent difficulties in scoring touchdowns in the red zone. For one thing, everything gets compressed inside the 20. The field cant be stretched vertically, and that makes it easier to cover pass routes underneath, or stack up the line of scrimmage against the run.Defenses also tend to sharpen their focus, knowing their backs are against the wall. Or at least the goal line. And that makes everything from blocking to catching require just a bit more precision.Everything has to be on point, Reid said, and its got to be a little faster in there. We need to do a better job there, and I need to do a better job of putting guys in position. The Chiefs are scoring touchdowns on just 46.3 percent of trips inside the 20, which is tied for 27th in the NFL. By comparison, the Titans lead the league with a 71.4 percent conversion rate. While Reid seemingly has been trying in vain to find the source of the Chiefs red-zone ills, Titans coach Mike Mulaarkey knows exactly where to give credit for Tennessees success.ddddddddddddI think it starts with Marcus, Mularkey said, referring to second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota, who has thrown 32 touchdown passes without a red-zone interception in his career.I think a lot of it is because of his thought process, how quickly he thinks down there, Mularkey continued. He has a very quick release and theres not a lot of room for error down there, a lot of tight windows, and I think hes been very good with that.Mularkey also credited offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie and his other assistants for dreaming up a set of plays that always seem to work in those high-pressure, razor-thin confines.Theyve taken a lot of time and spent a lot of energy on those areas, he said. Now, it would be foolish to think the Chiefs dont put similar emphasis on those scoring situations, especially given their struggles early in the season. During one two-week stretch, which included a brutal 19-17 loss to Tampa Bay, they managed just one touchdown on five trips inside the 20.The low point may have come when Smith tossed an interception in the end zone against the Buccaneers, and Jameis Winston and Co. marched the length of the field for a touchdown that sealed the outcome.Especially down the stretch, I think those things only become more magnified, Smith said. They become more important as the games get bigger and bigger. No question.Hard for games to get any bigger these days. The Chiefs are 10-3 and tied atop the AFC West with Oakland, but have the tiebreaker thanks to their two wins over the Raiders. Winning out would ensure Kansas City a first-round bye in the playoffs, and at least some level of homefield advantage for the playoffs. You know, its always tough though too this late in the season with the work week and stuff, Smith said. You only get so many opportunities. Obviously, youre trying to take care of guys bodies and get guys back out there, but no question. Its a huge priority.---For more NFL coverage: http://www.pro32.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP-NFL ' ' '

Jeronia Allen and Kayla Bell added 11 apiece.DePaul shot 12 for 37 on 3-pointers, and Prairie View was 0 for 5. Air Force 1 On Sale . Rob Manfred, baseballs chief operating officer, testified last week during the grievance filed by the players union to overturn Rodriguezs 211-game suspension. A person familiar with the hearing, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Associated Press on Saturday that Manfred testified the sport wasnt concerned whether Bosch distributed performance-enhancing drugs to minors because MLBs interest was his relationship with players under investigation. ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Matt Dominguez took no offence when the Angels intentionally walked a .247-hitting catcher so they could pitch to him in the seventh inning of a tie game. After all, playing for the Houston Astros these days is filled with all types of indignities. On the very next pitch, Dominguez took a swing that thrilled his family and capped the Astros best week in a long while. Dominguez hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the seventh inning, and Houston won back-to-back series for the first time in nearly two months with a 7-5 victory over Los Angeles on Sunday. Dominguez tied his career high with four hits in his native Southern California, while L.J. Hoes had his first career homer among his three hits in the major league-worst Astros fourth win in six games. Dominguez homered after Angels reliever Juan Gutierrez (0-4) walked Carlos Corporan, and the Astros hung on to their seventh win over Los Angeles this season. "They just wanted a matchup, I think," said Dominguez, a San Fernando Valley native who left 15 tickets for family. "He hung the slider, and I got it good. Feels good. I guess they had confidence they could get me out more than they did Carlos. Thats how baseball is. No hard feelings or anything. Ill just go up and try to do what I can." Slowly, the young Astros are getting things done. They scored 20 runs while taking two of three games at the Big A, winning with offence after a pitching-dominated series earlier in the week in Oakland, where they also took two of three from the Athletics. "At some point, were going to start to get our breaks," Houston manager Bo Porter said. "Were swinging the bats real well, and were getting good starting pitching." Brett Oberholtzer (3-1) blew an early three-run lead, but pitched six effective innings during Houstons sixth win in seven games at Angel Stadium. He gave up seven hits and struck out four in his fourth major league start, even retiring nine of his final 10 batters after Hamiltons tying homer. Oberholtzer attributes the Astros recent success to "staying loose. I think were playing with a little swagger, a little confidence about ourselves." Thats in short supply for the Angels (55-68), who have lost 11 of 16 and 23 of 34 -- yet Houston (41-82) is still 14 games behind Los Angeles for fourth place in the AL West. Mike Trout had two hits for the Angels before leaving in the sixth inning with rightt hamstring tightness.dddddddddddd Josh Hamilton homered and tripled for Los Angeles to follow up his extra-inning homer Saturday night, while Mark Trumbo drove in three runs and hit his 28th homer late in the Angels sixth loss in eight games. "Its frustrating losing to anybody," said Hamilton, who delivered his 19th homer. "It doesnt matter who it is. If it was the Yankees in here today, or the Rangers, it would be just as frustrating. Its one of those things where youre playing a team with that kind of a record, but you dont want to relax or take anything for granted. Im not saying that were doing that, but some years, some teams have your number. Thats how it goes." Trout went 2 for 3 with a third-inning double, but left the game after flying out in the fifth. The Angels All-Star outfielder reached base for the 40th straight game, extending the majors longest current streak. "Its all right. Im just sore," said Trout, second in the AL at with a .333 average. "Its not like it popped or anything. It was just a little grabbing, so it shouldnt be too serious. ... Ill see how it is tomorrow. I came out just because I didnt want it to get worse. Its definitely frustrating when you cant be out there. For me as a speed guy, Ive got to take care of my legs." Houston boosted its lead to 7-3 in the eighth on Jose Altuves sacrifice fly. Trumbo trimmed the deficit with his two-run shot to left off Jordan Lyles, the Astros scheduled Monday starter, who pitched 2 1-3 innings of relief before leaving with two runners on in the ninth. Rookie Kevin Chapman got pinch-hitter Peter Bourjos to ground into a game-ending double play, earning his first career save. Jason Vargas recovered from an awful beginning to his first home start in two months to pitch into the sixth for the Angels, allowing seven hits -- all in the first three innings. The left-hander walked three and struck out three in his second start since returning from injury. Hoes homered in his 19th major league game, drilling a one-out shot in the first inning. NOTES: Lyles unexpectedly made his first relief appearance of the season. Porter said RHP Lucas Harrell will start the series opener at Texas on Monday night. ... Dominguez also had four hits July 31. ... Hamiltons triple was his first since May 21. ... Gutierrez, who made his major league debut with Houston in 2007, struck out four during his 1 2-3 innings. STILLWATER, Okla. -- Jawun Evans scored 34 points and Oklahoma State beat Campbell 102-65 on Friday night, giving head coach Brad Underwood a win in his Cowboys debut.Evans, who was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year last season despite missing the final 10 games with a shoulder injury, had 26 points at halftime and finished 11 for 18 from the field, with six rebounds, three assists and five steals.Just taking what they give me, Evan said of his big night. My teammates put me in a better spot. I just tried to pick us up and get us rolling. Just a great night for us. We started out kind of slow. As a team, we got some key guys come in and pick up the defense.Sixth-year senior Phil Forte, who missed all but the first three games of last year with an elbow injury, and Jeffrey Carroll each scored 22 points for Oklahoma State (1-0).Freshman Cameron McGriff had 13 rebounds in his college debut and Carroll, both coming off the bench, added nine.I thought our bench was absolutely huge tonight, Underwood said. When you get one point (combined) from three starters, thats going to be problematic most nights. Were going to work to continue our depth and thats something, the way we play, weve got to have depth. I think you saw what a toll it can take on opposing teams. Were going to take them out of their offense.Underwood joined the Cowboys after compiling an 89-14 record -- including two NCAA tournament victories -- over three seasons at Stephen F. Austin. He won the Southland Conference Coach of the Year award each season.Chris Clemons scored 17 points to lead Campbell (0-1).BIG PICTURECampbell: Clemons, the Big South Freshman of the Year last season, is a special talent. He controlled the game for stretches of the first half and had 13 points in the first 11 minutes. And although he wound up shooting just 5-of-18, Clemons was impressive, sinking four 3-pointers. He also came out of the contest twice after getting hurt, but returned both times.Oklahoma State started a bit clunkily, missing its first five shots, and had moments of sloppiness, committing 12 turnovers in the first half and 15 overall. But in their first game under Underwood, the Cowboys also had moments of explosiveness, especially from Evans and Forte.I think this was a very typical first game, there were a lot of sloppy things that happened, Underwood said. I thought our effort was very good. Weve got a lot of things to work on.TURNING POINTAfter a 10-0 run capped off by Andrew Eudys steal and subsequent layup, Campbell led 30-26 with 7:59 remaining in the first half. Evans then scored the next nine points in less than a minute as part of a 13-0 run that put Oklahoma State ahead to stay. The Cowboys completed a 26-3 stretch when Carrolls tap-in with 2:34 left in the half put OSU up 52-33. During that stretch, Campbell missed nine consecutive shots, scoring just three free throws over a six-minute span.HE SAID ITIm a pretty emotional person, Underwood said of his first game at OSU. I thought a lot today about walking into that building for the first time when it really counts and how much that means to me, and Ive had a long journey. The journey has made this special. Ive been blessed from that standpoint. I know how important basketball is at Oklahoma State; I know how great its been. I know how important it is to fans. That means so much to me.UP NEXTCampbell returns home to the newly-renovated Gore Arena in Buies Creek, North Carolina, for its home opener on Tuesday against Bridgewater.Oklahoma State remains at home over the weekend and will take on Central Arkansas on Monday. Cheap Authentic Jerseys .C. -- Glenn Howard needed an extra end to move into the Masters Grand Slam of Curling final. CINCINNATI -- A lot has been made of Andy Daltons struggles in the past few games -- sacks, turnovers, passes batted down. One of the contributing factors is the Bengals inability to run the ball, which puts the onus on the quarterback. And if they dont get a lot more out of the running game, the quarterback is going to be a target for the rest of their lost season. The Bengals (3-7-1) are on pace to have their least-productive season with the run since 2010, which stands as a recent reference point for bad Cincinnati running games.Cedric Benson ran for 1,111 yards, but nobody else contributed consistently as the offense revolved around receivers Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens. The Bengals finished 4-12 in that season, and it feels as if theyre running in place again. We know how to do our jobs, running back Jeremy Hill said. We just need to execute better, especially in the running game. The Bengals offense has favored the pass under first-year coordinator Ken Zampese. Dalton has thrown at least 40 passes in five games -- he did that only once in each of the past two seasons. His career high is six games with 40-plus passes in 2013, and hes got plenty of time to top that mark.By contrast, the Bengals are on pace for 422 runs this season, which would be their fewest since 2008.Cincinnati has been held under 100 yards rushing in seven of its 11 games. During a 19-14 loss in Baltimore on Sunday, the Bengals managed only 64 yards rushing -- 15 of them on Daltons scrambles. Rex Burkhead was their leading rusher with 29 yards on five carries, while Hill managed only 21 yards on 12 carries. It wont get any easier down the stretch. Multifaceted running back Giovani Bernard tore his lefft ACL two weeks ago.ddddddddddddReceiver A.J. Green is sidelined indefinitely with a strained right hamstring, so opponents dont need to fear the passing game as much. The Bengals host the Eagles (5-6) on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. Philadelphias defense is ranked 17th against the run and has held three of its past four opponents to 74 yards or fewer on the ground.Burkhead, a fourth-year player, moved into a bigger role when Bernard got hurt. He carried only 13 times in his first three seasons, but will get the ball more regularly the rest of the way.Rex is capable of doing any role we ask him to, Zampese said. So its easy just to put him in there and let him have his opportunities like we did in that game.Burkhead has been primarily a special teams player the past two seasons.Hes a guy that has flashed in practice and hasnt had a role yet, left tackle Andrew Whitworth said. Its good to see him in there getting some plays.Game notes CB Tony McRae was signed to the practice squad. McRae played in all four preseason games with Cincinnati and was on the practice squad for one week before being released. ... Green wasnt on the field for any of the Bengals workouts on Wednesday as he gets treatment for the hamstring injury. Backup QB AJ McCarron sat out practice with a stiff neck. ... Nine players were limited in practice, including WR Brandon LaFell (knee), S Shawn Williams (hamstring), LS Clark Harris (groin) and TEs Tyler Kroft (concussion) and C.J. Spieth sits top of group one after a 5&4 win over the Ryder Cup star, on a day where Bubba Watson and Zach Johnson continued their unbeaten starts. The world No 1 followed his opening day win over Jamie Donaldson by easing to victory over the Frenchman, finishing in style with a birdie at the 14th. Spieth raced in to a three-hole lead inside the opening four holes, but briefly saw his advantage cut to two when he found he bogeyed the 11th after finding the water. GLENDALE, Ariz. -- When the city of Glendale backed out of an arena lease deal with the Arizona Coyotes last year, it put the future of the franchise in doubt yet again.Turns out, Glendale may have done the Coyotes a favor. The Coyotes announced a proposal Monday to build a 16,000-seat arena near Arizona State Universitys main campus by 2019, a deal that would put the team in the heart of the Phoenix areas population and financial center.Someone said at the time it would be a silver lining, Coyotes President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc said of the Glendale City Councils decision. This is a gold lining. The new arena will be on a 58-acre parcel within Arizona States Athletic Facilities District, less than two miles from campus. The NHL arena will include an attached 4,000-seat multi-sport arena that would be used for Coyotes practices as well as by ASU athletics and youth hockey teams. The Coyotes agreement with developer Catellus Development Corp. sets a June 30 deadline for creating the overall budget, design and operational plan for developing the arena.Coyotes majority owner Andrew Barroway said the arena will cost around $400 million, with the team picking up about half the cost. The other half will be through public-private funding, according to LeBlanc.Lets be realistic here: These types of arenas dont happen without some kind of public-private partnership, LeBlanc said. Its an absolute requirement, but the world has shifted where teams would look for the entire bill to be covered by a governmental agency, you see a shift toward the middle of the spectrum. The Coyotes shared an arena with the NBAs Phoenix Suns after moving from Winnipeg in 1996 and moved to the Phoenix suburb of Glendale in 2003. The team had other options at the time, including Scottsdale, but the area where they are now was expected to be the growth area in Phoenix, so the franchise went with Glendale. The Coyotes time in Glendale has been tumultuous, starting with former owner Jerry Moyes taking the team into bankruptcy in 2009, leading to the franchise being operated by the NHL for four years. The Coyotes signed a 15-year, $225 million arena lease deal with the city of Glendale in 2013, but the City Council voted to terminate the lease last year. The sides agreed to a restructured lease agreement last July to keep the team in Glendale for two more seasons. The team has a lease option for next season and LeBlanc said the team is already working on extending it.Arizona had considered sites in downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe before LeBlanc announced in June that the team had selected a then-unnamed site for its new home. One of the drawbacks of having the arena on the west side of town was that it was too difficult for fans on the east side to get to games, particularly during rush-hour traffic for weekday games. The new site will put the Coyotes on the more-populous east side of the Valley of the Sun and, they hope, lead to bigger crowds. The Coyotes annually have among the NHLs lowest attendance figures.Any business that you run, you want to make sure youre close as possible to the majority of your customers, LeBlanc said. Its just a simple, empirical fact that the majority of the people are on the east side. Thats not to say anything negative about our friends here on the west side, its just a fact that the vast majority are on the east side. The Coyotes hope to have construction begin by the end of next summer and have the arena ready for play by the 2019-20 season. There are still a few hurdles to cross -- namely the public funding side of the equation -- but Monday was a big step toward the Coyotes finding a permanent home. Its a long road to get here, but everything looks great for the Coyotes, Barroway said. For staying in Arizona. Were going to be in a place we think is the ideal location. Were going to build a world-class facility we believe our fans will be excited about and want to come to. Meanwhile, there were huge victories for Sunderland and West Ham over fellow relegation rivals, leaving the battle to avoid the drop up for grabs with the bottom 11 teams separated by just six points. Warwickshire 172 and 120 for 4 drew with Middlesex 242 and 267 for 7 dec (Robson 74, Eskinazi 53) ScorecardMiddlesex remain the Division One leaders but by less of a margin than that with which they began after the weather ultimately left them frustrated at it did Yorkshire. As they seek to stay in front and win the County Championship title for the first time since 1993, Middlesex now lead Yorkshire by four points, down from five, this match called off as a draw after bad light forced the players off following just 56 minutes of action, the first two sessions having been lost to rain. The results mean that the likelihood of the final round of the season, in which Yorkshire have to go to Lords, being the deciding round is slightly greater, although if either side is to seize a clear advantage before then it is Yorkshire, with their next two matches at home, who look the more likely.Middlesex are away for their next two, against Nottinghamshire and Lancashire, although their chances there will be boosted by the return to their attack of Steven Finn from injury and fellow seamer Tim Murtagh from international duty. Finn has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury on the final day of Englands fourth Test defeat to Pakistan three weeks ago.Having Steven back will be a real boost, Middlesex captain James Franklin said. We all know what he can do if he is on song and he is champing at the bit to be back playing cricket and maybe helping us push for the title.Franklin, who will be leader on the field for the remainder of the campaign with Adam Voges unable to return, admitted the possibility of winning the title is adding an extra buzz in the dressing room but stressed that keeping their advantage would be tough.Id be lying if I said there was not talk in the group about the title but we know there are still 72 points available and it is not only about ourselves and Yorkshire, with Somerset still hunting, he said. Twelve days is a lot of cricket to be played and every game in this division is tough whether you are playing teams at the bottom of the table or in contention at the top. We know we are going to have to play very good cricket in those 12 days if we are to come out on top.At Edgbaston, it seemed unlikely any play would be possible as rain teemed down throughout the scheduled morning session, leaving puddles on the outfield. But a dry interlude allowed some intensive mopping up and had the light been good enough the minimum 36 overs left when play began at 3.45pm may well have been bowled, perhaps a few more with spin used at both ends. They had intended to give Warwickshire a burst of Toby Roland-Jones at the start but with the floodlights on they were obliged to bowl off-spinner Ollie Rayner and left-arm spinner Ravi Patel in tandem from the start or risk leaving the field earlier still. In the event, it was debatable whether Middlesex would have been able to claim six more wickets to win the match. Rayner managed to winkle out Chris Wright, the nightwatchman, with the last ball of his fourth over but Ian Bell and Sam Hain used their feet well against the turning ball and had kept their wickets intact for 11.4 overs more when umpires David Millns and Martin Saggers decided the floodlights were providing more illumination than the natural light.Asked whether Middlesex might have given themselves a better chance had they pushed on towards a declaration position more quickly on the third day, captain James Franklin admitted it was a tricky decision. The overhead conditions made it more difficult on Friday and I think Warwickshire bowled pretty well at us, he said. We felt we had to get to a certain point before we could really kick on.Before that, 240, 250, 260 was well within the realms of Warwickshire and had the weather not come it would have left them a lot of time to get that, so it was a balancing act. In the end the weather had the last word anyway.Middlesex are the only side to have beaten Yorkshire in the Championship in the last three seasons but Franklin does not believe that record will have any bearing if the meeting at Lords on September 20 does turn out to be a winner-takes-all showdown.I dont think our record against Yorkshire gives us any kind of advantage, he said. They are such a good team and they have proven that in the last two years. Obviously we would back ourselves to beat them but we cant look too far ahead. Before that we have two games against Nottinghamshire and Lancashire, which will not be easy. We are in with a shout (of the title) but we are going to have to play very well. Nike Air Max 90 Schweiz .5 million, one-year contract on Friday. EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Victor Cruz may have to wait a little longer to play in a game for the New York Giants. The wide receiver, who missed all of last season with a calf injury and has been limited to six regular-season games in the last two years, is looking iffy for the Giants preseason opener against the Miami Dolphins after sustaining a groin injury in practice Tuesday.Coach Ben McAdoo was taking a wait-and-see approach when asked whether the seventh-year receiver who was once one of the NFLs biggest playmakers would play on Friday night at MetLife Stadium.Cruz also was uncertain, saying it usually takes a couple of days to get the tightness out. However, he was certain this was not a case of `here we go again with the injuries.I think I know the difference of something that is really bothering me and will take a long time and something that is just normal football training camp soreness, things that just come about as training camp goes on, Cruz said. Im not having those doubts or those feelings in my mind right now.His intention for now is to listen to his body and act on that.I went through one of my biggest workloads the last week and came back the next day and practiced and everything felt good, Cruz said. No pain, no ailments or anything like that, so my body has been good and responding well to the wear and tear of camp, so Im excited about that. I just want to keep putting things forward.McAdoo has been smart handling Cruz. He started him at camp with a full workload and has occasionally backed off the load when necessary. The Giants are hoping Cruz can return and be somewhat of his old self, giving quarterback Eli Manning another option to go along with Odell Beckham Jr., and second-round draft pick Sterling Shepard. In his prime from 2011-13, Cruz had 241 catches for 3,626 yards and 23 touchdowns. There have been times in training camp when he has run a route or made a play in 7-on-7 drills and he felt close to himself again. He also has once more felt the sting of being a player: mammoth defensive tackle Damon `Snacks Harrison caught him off-guard and hit him during a drill, knocking him to the ground last week.Cruz was down for a few seconds and got up after realizing he was OK.It was football again, which is what he wanted.Just to be the player I once was, the 29-year-old said Cruz said of his expectations. I dont want to be out here feeling less of myself or feeling anywhere below of how I feel I should be out here. The only expectation is for me to come out here, feel like myself, be in and out of my breaks, run proper routes, be at the proper depths of what I need to do from an assignment perspective and let everything else take care of itself. When asked if that was achievable, Cruz did not hesitate.Absolutely, he said.Game notes LB Keenan Robinson (groin) and S Nat Berhe (hamstring) did not practice Tuesday. S Landon Collins was kicked in the leg and returned. ...McAdoo said playing time in the preseason game will be planned on Thursday, adding there might be in-game adjustments. ...Free agent LB Ishaq Williams intercepted a tipped pass.---AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Joshua Rojas Jersey . Schenn scored the game-winning goal and added two assists to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday.RENTON, Wash. -- Offensive lineman John Moffitt was traded Tuesday from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos after his original trade to Cleveland was voided by the Browns. The Broncos, who announced the trade, sent defensive tackle Sealver Siliga back to Seattle in exchange for Moffitt. Seattle had originally traded Moffitt to the Browns on Monday, pending a physical, in exchange for Brian Sanford. But the trade was voided by the Browns. The Seahawks then turned and sent Moffitt to the Broncos, providing Denver with some experienced depth. Moffitt became expendable after he lost out to J.R. Sweezy for the starting right guard spot. Seattle also felt strongly about some of its other young backups. "We would not have been able to do a trade like that if the young guys hadnt been doing such a great job," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Tuesday before Moffitts deal to Cleveland had been voidded and the new trade completed.dddddddddddd "I think that its really a statement about those guys growing and coming in and helping us." Seattle has been set on adding additional depth to the defensive line. Seattle signed Tony McDaniel in the off-season to play defensive tackle, but he has been slowed by a groin injury during training camp. The Seahawks also have Clinton McDonald and Jaye Howard, and they drafted Jordan Hill and Jesse Williams in April to play the position. Siliga doesnt come with much experience. He played in just one game during the 2012 season for the Broncos and recorded one tackle. He left Utah after his junior season, but went undrafted. He originally signed with San Francisco before being released and latching on with Denvers practice squad in October 2011. Silaga was on Denvers 53-man roster for all of the 2012 season, but he was inactive for 15 games. ' ' '

CHICAGO -- Dwyane Wade does not want to be viewed as a ring chaser. The Chicago Bulls guard made that clear a day after LeBron James acknowledged he tried to get his good friend to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers over the summer.Listen, Im not ring chasing, Wade said with a laugh after Thursdays practice. I told you that. If I was ring chasing, it would be a different conversation. Im lucky, and Im blessed. Obviously, we talked. But it wasnt ... its cool to talk about certain things but 3.5 ... nothing wrong with $3.5 million, but ... nothing wrong with it all.Wade said James never tried to sell him and Chris Bosh on signing with the Cavaliers in the summer of 2010. All three All-Stars ended up signing -- or in Wades case, re-signing -- with the Miami Heat that summer.Absolutely not, Wade said. Financially, I dont think they could even be in the game if it came to that. I know they were trying to get Chris there in a trade at some point. Obviously, we met with a few different teams, but when it came to us figuring out we could play together, Miami put the monkey wrench in the whole thing when they came with the idea that they can get three players. We never thought it was possible. I was shocked when I heard it could happen. But I know LeBrons eyes were here. I know my eyes were here. I know Chris eyes were kind of everywhere because he was in Toronto so he was just happy that people knew who he was. Toronto was a little different than it is today. Obviously, everything happened the way it happened. In the midst of his 20-minute post-practice media session, Wade also discussed how James should be viewed in the context of all-time greats in the league. Wade told ESPN last week that he thought no player would ever surpass Michael Jordans legacy and that the best James could hope for was a tie.Its tough [to compare] because these guys are different players, Wade said. Were not talking the exact same player. Were talking about different players in different times. Even though everyone crossed paths, Kobe crossed paths with Jordan, Bron crossed paths with Kobe, all these guys, were talking about great, great players. My comment was, to me, as an individual person, Michael Jordan is my favorite basketball player of all time. No one is ever going be my favorite like Michael Jordan. And understanding the time that were in today, the time Jordan was in, helps that as well. I didnt know a lot about MJ, all this stuff thats going on about players and everything we get to talk about, I didnt see none of that about Michael. So even to this day, hes still a superhero from that standpoint. Its just a total different time. For me, LeBron James is -- I thought at one point when we came in the league, Kobe Bryant was the greatest player in our era. Thats who we all strived for. Thats who we all looked up to to try to get [to that level].LeBron, when its all said and done, when his career is over, yes, hes arguably a top-three player of all time. And depending on what era you grew up in, you can decide whos one, whos two, whos three. But no one is going have a perfect [order]. All the numbers is not going to match up. Some players dont think Michael Jordan is the greatest. You go back to Bill Russell, you go back to Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar]. [Theres] so many players that can be [in the discussion]. I just felt that, for me, how much higher can you go? LeBron James could win 10 championships. That doesnt make you a better player. Hes as great as it gets, so now [the media] decides the rankings. But for me, Michael Jordan is my No. 1 favorite player of all time.Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg echoed Wades sentiments, saying he would put James on his Mount Rushmore of the games greats. You talk about versatility in basketball players and players that make those around them better, Im not sure theres too many in the game ever that have made their surrounding cast better players, Hoiberg said. You look at what happened a couple years ago, they had so many injuries to key guys and theyre still playing in the Finals. Its a testament to LeBron and what he can do as a basketball player.Hes such a tough cover because of his size, strength, his passing ability, unselfishness, and just his power and athleticism. That block he had in Game 7 at Golden State is one of the best plays Ive ever seen, the way he covered ground like he did. Hes an unbelievable basketball player, great instincts. I think the best thing you can say about him is how much he makes those around him better. As great as James is, Hoiberg knows that if Jordan played in todays game, with todays rules, he would dominate more than ever. The thing Ive always said about Jordan, if he would have played in todays era with the handcheck rule the way it is, he would have shot over 20 free throws every night, Hoiberg said. He was impossible to stay in front of. But when Jordan played, you could hold guys, you could grab them, you could be more physical with them. In my opinion, Michael Jordan is the best ever to put on a uniform. Theres really no debate. I think if you ask most people, [they would] give you that same answer. As far as LeBron is concerned, Id absolutely put him up there, as far as the Mount Rushmore. Again, hes so versatile, hes such a tough cover, he can guard. He does everything. Magneuris Sierra Jersey .J. -- Marty Brodeur beat the Pittsburgh Penguins yet again. Billy McMillon Jersey . SAN FRANCISCO -- In the eighth inning Saturday, Chris Davis connected for one of the fastest, fiercest home runs to clear the fences that anyone can remember at AT&T Park. San Francisco closer Sergio Romo then found himself staring at the majors home run leader an inning later with the tying run at first. Romo retired Davis on a game-ending groundout, and solid pitching wasnt wasted this time as the Giants held on for a 3-2 win against the Baltimore Orioles after Hunter Pences go-ahead, two-run double in the sixth inning Saturday. "Thats what this game is all about: the best in the world versus the best in the world," Pence said of the Romo-Davis matchup. "Hes having a really remarkable season and hes definitely locked in. That was an exciting at-bat. Romo got the job done, which was really crucial for us." San Franciscos stagnant lineup finally got to Wei-Yin Chen on Saturday -- and Romo then kept Davis down in the final inning following his 42nd home run leading off the eighth against Santiago Casilla. The drive high into the seats in right-centre was thought to be one of the farthest in Davis career. "Really? Wow. Not quite enough," he said. "Any time you have runners on, especially with our lineup, you expect somebody to come through with a big hit, but their pitchers made pitches and they made plays." Nick Markakis added three hits, but Baltimore had its three-game winning streak snapped on a day of missed opportunities. Guillermo Moscoso (1-0) pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the win. The Orioles left the bases loaded in the second. Adam Jones hit a sacrifice fly in the third, but Baltimore stranded a runner at third. The Orioles squandered chances again in the sixth, eighth and ninth. Baltimore manager Buck Showalter was unhappy with the strike zone -- for both sides. "I thought (Chad Gaudin) deserved a little better fate, too," Showalter said. "We had some good situations. We just didnt cash the ticket." After Brandon Belt singled with two outs in the first, Chen (6-5) retired the next 13 batters before Andres Torres leadoff single in the sixth. He was sacrificed to second and Marco Scutaro followed with a tying single..ddddddddddddBelt doubled one out later and Buster Posey drew an intentional walk, bringing up Pence. "Its nice to get a hit when youve got the opportunity in a big situation. Its nice to get a ball to fall," Pence said. Thats been a tough chore in so many close games this season. Belt, who has retooled his swing several times the past two seasons, had two hits. He homered in each of his previous two games. "We got the hit weve been looking for," manager Bruce Bochy said. "Its the type of hit that wins ballgames for you and has been missing. Its good to get those timely hits. You hope guys relax a little bit and start having more fun." Gaudin struck out six in five innings for the Giants, working out of several jams. Casilla struck out Ryan Flaherty and pinch-hitter Matt Wieters with two runners on to end the eighth. Romo earned his 27th save in 31 chances as the Giants won at AT&T Park for only the third time in their last 10 home games. They dropped the series opener in 10 innings Friday. Romo didnt back down from Davis. "I trust my stuff. Everybody here believes in my ability to get hitters out," Romo said. "Its just a win that we needed, and I just happened to be able to get him out to end it." Posey, the reigning NL MVP and batting champion, started and caught in a day game after a night game -- not often his routine. Manager Bruce Bochy said the off-day Monday factored into the decision, as well as a recent day to rest. NOTES: Orioles RHP Jason Hammel, who received a cortisone shot Friday for right forearm tightness, believes he will soon be ready to pitch again, though he isnt going to come off the disabled list Tuesday when eligible. OAKLAND -- Oakland As right-hander Kendall Graveman was 12 starts into the season and was searching for answers. He was 2-6 with a 5.28 ERA, and opposing hitters were batting .309 with 11 home runs against him.Thats when pitching coach Curt Young made a suggestion that helped turn Gravemans season around.Curt came up to me and said, You got to find what works for you, what makes you have a chip on your shoulder, whats going to lock you in, Graveman said.Graveman said he remembered how locked in he was in 2014, when he visualized his pitches before every game and rocketed through the Toronto Blue Jays system, earning five promotions and finishing the season in the major leagues. It was something that I just had to get back to, visualize throwing every pitch to both sides of the plate to lefties and righties, Graveman said. Its almost like youre visualizing a pitch that you want to make in a big situation to try to get someone out, but also just visualizing quality pitches.I think for me it sets up nicely because I get to see the movement when I visualize it. Youve seen it so much after you throw it and watching video that I think that just reinforces it. The minds a powerful thing. I think we know that now in the game of baseball. You start really thinking positively before a start, I think positive outcomes will happen. In his past six starts, Graveman has gone 4-0 with a 2.68 ERA, and opposing hitters are batting .232 with two home runs.Graveman will take a career-high five-game winning streak into his start Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rays and left-hander Drew Smyly.Smyly has lost a career-high seven straight games and is trying to escape the worst slump of his career. Hes 2-11 with a 5.64 ERA. Smyly, who missed 105 last year because of a left shoulder injury, entered this season with a career record of 24-15 with a 3.24 ERA.Its just been a slump, man, Smyly said. I wish I had an answer but I dont. You just got to keep grinding, keep searching. Im healthy. I feel fine. Every chance I get Im competing my hardest, so hopefully I can get it turned around. It is what it is.Despite Smylys struggles, the Rays have no plans to take him out of the rotation, manager Kevin Cash said. Were very confident he is going to pitch his way out of this, Cash said before the Rays 1-0, 13-inning loss to Oakland. Were looking forward to getting him on the mound (Saturday). I sat down and talked to him casually with him after his start in Colorado. Hes doing all the right things. The results just arent coming. Sometimes youve got to let it kind of work its course and one start, one, two good innings of something clicking can be really beneficial for him.Smyly gave up five runs and needed 100 pitches to get through five innings in a 7-4 loss to the Rockies on Monday at Coors Field.First of all, I believe hes healthy, too, Cash said. Weve talked to Drew. I think its just inconsistencies in his off-speed pitches. He has not gone into a start here recently where hes really had his wipeout cutter or wipeout breaking ball and it becomes difficult. Youre facing some good hitters, good lineups and to go out there with just a fastball -- he tries to get really picky with the fastball knowing that he doesnt have that. I know thats kind of been the focal point for him, to try to get one if not two of those off-sped pitches going for him.Graveman, who relies heavily on a nasty sinker, is 1-1 with a 2.04 ERA in three career starts against Tampa Bay. He took the loss on May 14 at Tropicana Field, allowing four runs over 5 2/3 innings in a 6-0 defeat.Smyly is 1-2 with a 6.87 ERA in six appearances against the As, including three starts. Duke Snider Jersey . The catch: It needs a lot of money, and it needs it fast. Sid Fernandez Jersey .J. -- Marty Brodeur beat the Pittsburgh Penguins yet again. https://www.cheapmetsjerseys.us/2120l-stephen-nogosek-jersey-mets.html . -- Linebacker Myles Jack ran for four touchdowns, defensive end Cassius Marsh caught a scoring pass, and No. Rick Aguilera Jersey . Just not the game. Kyle Palmieri scored two straight goals in the third period to rally the Anaheim Ducks past the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 on Tuesday night. Drew Gagnon Jersey .C. Lions has come to an end. Banks told TSN on Jan 2 that he had no interest in playing out the option year of his contract with the Lions in 2014, and he again made that clear in a conversation with Lions GM Wally Buono last week.SAN FRANCISCO - Marco Estrada went from feeling funny to feeling good and it worked to his advantage. Estrada pitched five strong innings, Norichika Aori drove in two runs, Khris Davis hit a home run and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Francisco Giants 6-1 on Wednesday night. Estrada gave the Brewers more than they could expect in his first start in two months. The right-hander allowed a hit, did not walk anybody and struck out six. "At first I felt a little weird out there," Estrada said. "As I got going I felt more comfortable. Overall, I thought it went pretty well." Estrada was activated from the disabled list before the game to make the start in place of left-hander Tom Gorzelanny, who is still bothered by a sore elbow. Estrada had only a pair of rehab starts and his pitch count was limited. He retired his last 14 batters and 15 of 16 overall. "His command was outstanding," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "He kept his curve down in the zone and his fastball had life to it. For him, coming back after two starts and throwing only 2 2-3 innings, I thought it was really good." Alfredo Figaro (2-3) pitched two innings to earn the win. Burke Badenhop and Michael Gonzalez each added a scoreless inning. Jeff Bianchi and Martin Maldonado also drove in runs for the Brewers, who won their third in four games. The Brewers did lose infielder and leadoff hitter Rickie Weeks to a strained left hamstring. He appeared to injure himself trying to beat out an infield grounder in the eighth. "I took two or three steps out of the box and I felt a little pop," Weeks said. Weeks added that he has never had hamstring problems before. Buster Posey drove in a run for the Giants, who have lost four of five. "I was working a lot during my bullpens and I was excited to be back out there," Estrada said. "I tried to stay relaxed and not show any emotion." Davis made a shoestring catch on PPoseys fly, saving at least one run and possibly avoiding a rally.dddddddddddd Madison Bumgarner (11-7) took a shutout into the eighth inning, but lost. He gave up four runs — three earned — on five hits in seven-plus innings. He walked three and struck out four. "For whatever reason, we dont look like the same team we were last year," Bumgarner said. "There are things I could have done differently. There are things everyone could have done differently. Its been the same story all year." The game was scoreless into the bottom of the seventh. Brandon Crawford walked and Brandon Belt singled to open the inning. After a passed ball, Posey hit a sacrifice fly. The first four Brewers reached base against Bumgarner in eighth. They all scored. Davis singled and Yuniesky Betancourt doubled to start the rally. Bianchi beat out an infield single to drive in one run and another came home when Bumgarner threw wildly past third on a bunt. "We didnt do a whole lot against him," Roenicke said. "When you go up against a guy that good and win, its a great game." Santiago Casilla took over on the mound and got one out before Aokis sharp single up the middle scored two. Its the first time in 10 starts that Bumgarner allowed more than three runs while pitching at least seven innings. Davis homered and Maldonado singled home a run against Barry Zito in the ninth. NOTES: Gorzelanny (elbow contusion) threw a bullpen session and will likely make his next start on Saturday in Seattle. ... The Brewers sent IF Scooter Gennett to Triple-A Nashville to make room for Estrada. ... Giants OF Jeff Francoeur started in centre field for the third time in his career. He made 176 starts there in the minors. ... Giants OF Gregor Blanco, .067 (3 for 45) since the All-Star break, will be given a day or two to clear his mind. "This will give him a chance to catch his breath," SF manager Bruce Bochy said. ' ' '

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Joses worst played game of the week delivered the best result for the Sharks.Logan Couture and Kevin Labanc scored less than 2 minutes apart in the second period and the Sharks bounced back from consecutive losses by beating the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 on Saturday night. When you look at the week out of the three games we played, it was probably our poorest of the three, coach Peter DeBoer said. But we found a way to win, and the other two we lost, maybe we deserved better. Thats hockey.Patrick Marleau scored 12 seconds into the game and Paul Martin added his first goal of the season for the Sharks, who had allowed late tiebreaking goals in their previous two games to lose to Ottawa and Anaheim.Backup goalie Aaron Dell made 30 saves to earn his third win in four starts this season. His only loss was a 1-0 defeat in Carolina last month but he got much more support this game. Its always nice to get some good bounces like that, Martin said. Most of the season weve been creating chances, getting pucks to the net. At some point its nice to get rewarded for that kind of stuff when guys are working hard and creating opportunities.Lee Stempniak and Derek Ryan scored power-play goals and Joakim Nordstrom added a short-handed tally but it wasnt enough for the Hurricanes, who earned three points on their three-game California swing. Cam Ward made 16 saves. They had momentum right off the bat, Carolina coach Bill Peters said. We were chasing the game most of the night. After a lackluster start to the second period for San Jose with no shots in the first 8 minutes and then allowing a game-tying short-handed goal by Nordstrom, the Sharks took control with a quick flurry.Seconds after Ryan returned from a slashing penalty, Brent Burns kept the puck in at the point and sent a shot toward net that Couture deflected past Ward for his 11th of the season.Just 1:52 later, Labanc came on the ice after Marleau broke a stick and skated right toward the net. That put him in perfect position to knock the rebound of Dylan DeMelos into an open net to make it 4-2.Ryan cut the deficit to one when he scored on the power play early in the third period after Brenden Dillon was sent off for cross-checking Sebastian Aho well behind the play.Carolina nearly got another power play later in the period when Burns was called for hooking, but Jeff Skinner also got sent off when the referee called him for embellishment. The Hurricanes pushed for the equalizer late but Dell stopped Jeff Skinners 11th shot on goal of the night to seal the win.were always trying to battle back and get back in the game as best we can and I thought we did a good job in the third at least to make it interesting, defenseman Matt Tennyson said. The game got off to an action-packed start with three goals in the opening 3:14. Marleau started it when Justin Braun sprung Joe Thornton on a 2 on 1 to set up the quick score. The teams then traded goals shortly after that with Stempniak scoring first goal in 23 games on the power play before Martins point shot deflected off defenseman Brett Pesces skate to put San Jose back ahead.Game notes The fastest goal in Sharks history came 8 seconds into the game by Stephane Matteau on Jan. 11, 2000, against St. Louis. ... Carolinas top-ranked penalty kill unit has four short-handed goals this season, while allowing only six power-play goals. ... Sharks D Marc-Edouard Vlasic left in the second period with a lower-body injury and is day to day.UP NEXTHurricanes: Host Vancouver on Tuesday.Sharks: Start a four-game trip at Toronto on Tuesday. FRANKFURT, Germany -- German prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation against WBA super middleweight champion Felix Sturm because of doping.Cologne prosecutor Daniel Vollmert says Sturm is suspected of violating Germanys new anti-doping law and could face up to three years in prison if convicted.Sturm tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol after his split decision victory over Fedor Chudinov on Feb. 20 in Oberhausen, Germany. He has denied any wrongdoing, and the B sample has yet to be tested.Sturm won the fight against the previously unbeaten Chudinov on the cards of two judges, while one ruled it a draw. Many fans felt Sturm had been the inferior fighter. His victory made him the first German to be a world champion five times, having also held the WBA and WBO middleweight titles. He has moved back to his native Bosnia. Vic Willis Jersey .J. -- New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on his left knee. J. T. Brubaker Jersey . Bryant, who signed a five-year, $34 million contract as a free agent with Cleveland in March, reported symptoms on Monday morning, a team spokesman said. A lot has happened this NFL offseason. Just ask Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.Exiting the NFL draft and entering the early May Power Rankings, the Patriots were the No. 1 team. Then, in mid-July, Brady ended his fight against the NFL and accepted his four-game suspension. Enter Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback for four games, and exit the Patriots as the No. 1 team in ESPNs Preseason Power Rankings.Heres how ESPNs power panel (a group of more than 80 writers, editors and TV personalities) voted in the preseason version of the Power Rankings. ESPNs Stats & Information contributed the following information.Look back at our post-NFL draft Power Rankings here?and our post-free agency Power Rankings here.1. Seattle Seahawks2015 record: 10-6 Post-draft ranking: No. 4This is the fourth straight season that the Seahawks opened the preseason as the top team in ESPNs Power Rankings, and with good reason. The defense has allowed the fewest points each of the past four seasons.2. Arizona Cardinals2015 record: 13-3 Post-draft ranking: No. 5Arizona has gotten better each season under coach Bruce Arians. If that trend continues, expect big things from a Cardinals team that set franchise records in wins (13) and points (489) in 2015.3. New England Patriots2015 record: 12-4 Post-draft ranking: No. 1The Patriots started 2-2 or worse in three of their four Super Bowl-winning seasons, so forgive our voters for not overreacting to Tom Bradys four-game suspension being upheld. The Pats are still the team to beat in the AFC.4. Green Bay Packers2015 record: 10-6 Post-draft ranking: No. 3The Packers scored their fewest points since 2006 last season, but the prospect of a healthy Jordy Nelson and slimmed down Eddie Lacy could have Aaron Rodgers and the Packers scoring like were used to.5. Carolina Panthers2015 record: 15-1 Post-draft ranking: No. 2The Panthers have a tough act to follow, after they won 15 games last season, but no team in NFL history has ever followed a 15-win season with anything less than a 10-win season.6. Pittsburgh Steelers2015 record: 10-6 Post-draft ranking: No. 6Ben Roethlisberger averaged 328 passing yards per game last season, third-highest all time in a single season. With LeVeon Bell serving yet another suspension, the Steelers could be relying on Big Bens arm a lot more in 2016.7. Cincinnati Bengals2015 record: 12-4 Post-draft ranking: No. 7The Bengals, of all teams, have been a model of consistency under coach Marvin Lewis and QB Andy Dalton. They have made the playoffs in five straight seasons ... and theyve lost in the first round in five straight seasons.8. Denver Broncos2015 record: 12-4 Post-draft ranking: No. 8Peyton Manning is gone, but defense is what fuels the Broncos now. Consider this: Even with Manning last season, the Broncos finished 28th in passing touchdowns and 25th in Total QBR and threw the most interceptions.9. Kansas City Chiefs2015 record: 11-5 Post-draft ranking: No. 10The Chiefs lost to the Patriots in the division playoffs last season, but no team currently has a longer regular-season win streak than Kansas City (10 games). In fact, no other team has a streak longer than three games.10. Minnesota Vikings2015 record: 11-5 Post-draft ranking: No. 9In 2013, the year before coach Mike Zimmer arrived, the Vikings ranked last in points allowed. In 2015, Zimmers second year, they finished fifth. If the offense can score some points, expect the Vikings to stay in the top 10.11. Oakland Raiders2015 record: 7-9 Post-draft ranking: No. 13The Raiders? Ranked 11th? Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack have our voters intrigued, but -- not to sound cliché -- they still have to learn how to win. The Raiders had an NFL-worst minus-60 point differential in the fourth quarter last season.12. Baltimore Ravens2015 record: 5-11 Post-draft ranking: No. 14The Ravens won five games in 2007 and followed that with an 11-5 season. The Ravens won six games in 2005 and followed that with a 13-3 season. The Ravens dont stay down for long, so expect a big bounce back following their 5-11 2015 season.13. Dallas Cowboys2015 record: 4-12 Post-draft ranking: No. 11Dak Prescott wowed fans in his NFL debut, and though it was just preseason, the Cowboys need a capable backup quarterback. Tony Romo has missed at least one game in each of the past three seasons, and he missed 12 in 2015. In those three seasons, the Cowboys are 1-13 when Romo doesnt start and 23-11 when he does.14. Indianapolis Colts2015 record: 8-8 Post-draft ranking: No. 12QB Andrew Luck has to be a lot better than he was last season. It would be easy to write off 2015 because of injuries, but Luck was tied for the league lead in turnovers (13) when he got hurt. Also, dont forget: The Colts were 2-5 with Luck and 6-3 with anyone else starting in 2015.15. New York Jets2015 record: 10-6 Post-draft ranking: No. 15The Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick ended their will they, wont they offseason with a one-year deal. Was it the right move? Fitzpatrick set the Jets franchise record for touchdown passes (31) last season, but he also has zero career playoff appearances.16. Houston Texans2015 record: 9-7 Post-draft ranking: No. 17Our voters have the Texans in the middle of the pack, but their potential rise or fall will likely depend onn their consistency at quarterback.dddddddddddd The Texans finished 9-7 with four different starters last season. This season, its on Brock Osweiler to stay healthy.17. New York Giants2015 record:6-10 Post-draft ranking: No. 18If every game last season ended with exactly 75 seconds left, the Giants would have finished 10-5-1. This offseason, the Giants replaced coach Tom Coughlin with Ben McAdoo and gave away money (see?Olivier Vernon) like they gave away leads. Can the Giants play a full 60 minutes every week this season?18. Washington Redskins2015 record: 9-7 Post-draft ranking: No. 16Our voters dont have a lot of faith in the Redskins right now, and can you blame them? Although we liked?Kirk Cousins ascension, it came out of nowhere. Also working against Washington? The Redskins havent made the playoffs in back-to-back years since George H.W. Bush was president.19. Atlanta Falcons2015 record: 8-8 Post-draft ranking: No. 20An 8-8 season isnt the worst thing in the world, but its pretty close to it after you start 6-1. The Falcons have missed the playoffs in three straight years, and with center Alex Mack?the biggest offseason addition, the Falcons seem poised for another middling season.20. Jacksonville Jaguars2015 record: 5-11 Post-draft ranking: No. 23The Jaguars open the 2016 season Power Rankings at No. 20, which shows that our voters see potential in the teams young core. How so? That 20 ranking is tied for the Jaguars highest since Week 3 of the 2011 season.21. Chicago Bears2015 record: 6-10 Post-draft ranking: No. 25The Panthers went 11-5 in John Foxs second year as head coach. The Broncos went 13-3 in Foxs second year as head coach. This will be Foxs second year as head coach of the Bears. Will the Bears get their first 10-win season since 2012?22. New Orleans Saints2015 record: 7-9 Post-draft ranking: No. 27The Saints have Drew Brees, but their defense turns opponents quarterbacks into Brees. Against the Saints last season, quarterbacks posted a 68.4 completion percentage, 45 pass touchdowns, nine interceptions and 78.6 Total QBR.23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers2015 record: 6-10 Post-draft ranking: No. 29A few strong Jameis Winston starts out of the gate could very quickly have our voters singing a different tune about the Buccaneers. Had the Bucs finished stronger last season (they lost their last four after a 6-6 start), they might have been higher in these rankings.24. Buffalo Bills2015 record: 8-8 Post-draft ranking: No. 19Tyrod Taylor impressed in 2015, as he helped lead the Bills to an 8-8 record, but if the preseason rank of 24th is any indication, the Bills will be tacking another year onto their NFL-long 16-year playoff drought.25. Philadelphia Eagles2015 record: 7-9 Post-draft ranking: No. 22The Eagles are off to a rough start in 2016, as No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz suffered broken ribs in the Eagles first preseason game. Its a good thing the Eagles re-signed Sam Bradford and signed career backup Chase Daniel for a combined $34 million guaranteed this offseason.26. Miami Dolphins2015 record:6-10 Post-draft ranking: No. 21Coach Adam Gase has been labeled a quarterback whisperer, so Ryan Tannehill better be listening. He posted a career-worst 43.1 Total QBR last season, despite a talented receiving corps that featured Jarvis Landry, who had a franchise-record 100 receptions last season.27. Detroit Lions2015 record: 7-9 Post-draft ranking: No. 24The loss of Calvin Johnson is big, but the Lions might not be getting the benefit of the doubt here. They went 6-2 over the second half of 2015, and Matthew Stafford will have Golden Tate, Anquan Boldin and Marvin Jones to throw to in 2016.28. San Diego Chargers2015 record: 4-12 Post-draft ranking: No. 28The good news is that Melvin Gordon, the 15th overall pick in 2015, scored his first NFL touchdown. The bad news is it came in the first preseason game of 2016. Still, if its a sign of things to come, it would be a boost for a Chargers team that ranked 31st in rushing last season.29. Los Angeles Rams2015 record: 7-9 Post-draft ranking: No. 26The Rams appearance on Hard Knocks has proved one thing so far:?Jared Goff doesnt know which direction the sun sets. Luckily for Goff, his star will rise out west if he can improve the Rams NFL-worst 35.6 Total QBR from last season.30. Tennessee Titans2015 record: 3-13 Post-draft ranking: No. 30This ranking for the Titans is less a reflection of Marcus Mariotas potential and more a glimpse of the future under coach Mike Mularkey. Since a 9-7 coaching debut with the Bills in 2004, Mularkey is 9-32 as a head coach.31. Cleveland Browns2015 record:?3-13 Post-draft ranking: No. 32In the Browns preseason debut, Robert Griffin III?threw an interception and Cody Kessler ran out of the back of his own end zone for a safety. Its good to see the Browns got their quarterback situation figured out.32. San Francisco 49ers2015 record: 5-11 Post-draft ranking: No. 31Blaine Gabbert is 8-27 in his career as a starting quarterback and has the worst completion percentage and Total QBR since he entered the NFL. He is currently in contention for the 49ers starting job. Thats ... not good. ' ' '
