The Ducks (8-0, .9517) passed the Seminoles (7-0, .9211) following an impressive 42-14 triumph over then-No. 12 UCLA. Florida State held the second spot in the original standings last Sunday after its 51-14 beatdown of Clemson. FSU downed NC State, 49-17, on Saturday. Oregon holds a .0306 advantage over FSU, which led by a minuscule .0028 in last Sundays standings. Ohio State remained at No. 4, while Stanford is the highest ranked one-loss team at No. 5.
