Birmingham, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference (SEC) will expand its slate of academic programming to include an on-campus event focused on SEC university collaboration, the league office announced Wednesday.Each year, the SEC will work with one of its member universities to organize the SEC Academic Conference, the first of which will be held at Mississippi State University in the spring term of 2017. This on-campus event is expected to showcase Conference research in areas of critical importance within the region and around the nation.
