The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will decide by Thursday if FIFA must adopt Prince Ali bin al Husseins request to use transparent voting booths in Fridays presidential election in Zurich. Prince Ali of Jordan, one of five candidates bidding to succeed Sepp Blatter, is seeking reassurances over the voting procedure for the election and called for a postponement if his concerns were not answered. He took the case to CAS on Monday and the accelerated tribunal proceedings - with a decision on the eve of the scheduled vote - meaning there will almost certainly be no delay in the election. FIFA blocked an expedited hearing.
