The 49ers have a new food and beverage partner for the 2018 season: Levy Restaurants. Together they have resourced several local restaurants and food vendors to keep you satisfied while you cheer your team on the gridiron. We were lucky enough to get a preview of what’s to come on game day and where to find it at the stadium as you get ready for the home opener and the rest of the season. Our first stop was a visit to see where the fans who are sitting in the new end zone recliners can sneak off to. It’s a swanky lounge where delicious hand crafted cocktails are the norm and fans can feel like they are in an exclusive backstage type of setting. It’s called the IdentoGO Green Room: Jennifer Lee ChanJennifer Lee ChanOur next stop was to see the newly installed Touchdown Terrace stalls which house local food vendors and more on the outer patio areas adjacent to the main concourse. Not only was this designed to offer a larger variety of food options but also to alleviate crowds in the concourse area. Jennifer Lee ChanThese stalls will include some of Levy Restaurants’ offerings as well as featuring Bay Area restaurants including barbacco (Italian) - meatballs (meatless version also available)Jennifer Lee ChanCopita (Mexican) Jennifer Lee ChanThe Chairman (Asian street food) - pork belly buns Jennifer Lee Chan Michael Mina’s Bourbon Pub (American)Jennifer Lee ChanCrab pretzel roll was a favorite:Jennifer Lee ChanSalt & Straw (ice cream)Here are some of the new and classic items that you can find at the stadium: Dungeness Crab Pretzel: Knuckle and claw meat mixed with garlic aioli http://www.sanfrancisco49ersteamonline.com/dante-pettis-jersey , dijon, and chives on a fresh butter-toasted pretzel baguetteKorean Bibimbap Bowl: House-marinated kalbi beef accompanied by a fried egg, kimchi, and spicy gochujang aioli Poke Nachos: House-made wonton chips topped with fresh ahi tuna, avocado, edamame, nori, and sriracha aioli Garlic Fries: Hand-cut fries topped with minced garlic and parsley Chicken Verde Nachos: Tostitos nacho chips topped with pulled chicken, chile verde, sour cream, fresh jalapenos, and pico de galloReturning again from last year Organic Coup will have their chicken sandwiches available:Jennifer Lee ChanI will say that everything we tasted was enjoyable http://www.sanfrancisco49ersteamonline.com/earl-mitchell-jersey , but my favorites were the pork belly bun from The Chairman - super tender pork belly with just enough acidity to balance out the tasty sauce served on top with a tender bun, and the Ice Cream from Salt and Straw - I tried both the vegan strawberry coconut version and the freckled chocolate, both delicious! Look for all of these on your next trip to Levi’s Stadium!Survivor, straight up picks for Week 2 NFL action The NFL returns on Thursday evening with an NFC North matchup to kickoff Week 2. The Cincinnati Bengals host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, in a matchup of two quarterbacks (Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco) that are, well, questionable at best. It’s time once again for our pick ‘em and Survivor pool contest options. We have the weekly prediction contest this season, and you can make those picks here. We also have a traditional “Pick ‘Em” contest. If you still want to join, the group name is Niners Nation, the group ID is 45734, and the password is go49ers. We also have a Survivor Pool http://www.sanfrancisco49ersteamonline.com/solomon-thomas-jersey , but I don’t think you can join that after Week 1. You can double-check at that link. The group name and password are the same as for the pick ‘em contest. The group ID is 32471.Last week I took the Baltimore Ravens in my money Survivor pool. A lot of people took the New Orleans Saints and were knocked off by that one. This week, I have a feeling some folks are going to take our 49ers at home against the Lions. The 49ers can win this game, but with various injuries and question marks, I’m not sure I’m comfortable taking them in Survivor. I’m leaning towards either Washington at home against Indianapolis or Denver at home against Oakland.Tonight, Week 2 opens with the Bengals and Ravens squaring off for early AFC North supremacy. The line is hovering around pick ‘em, with some sportsbooks going Ravens -1, and some going Bengals -1. Both teams won last week, but I think the Ravens are a little over-inflated by their beatdown of a bad Bills team. This is going to be a close game, but I think the Bengals are going to get the victory and cover. Here are the rest of my straight-up picks. I was 10-5-1 last week. I’ll have my picks against the spread later this weekend.Bengals @ Ravens: BengalsPanthers @ Falcons: FalconsChargers @ Bills: ChargersVikings @ Packers: PackersTexans @ Titans: TitansBrowns @ Saints: SaintsDolphins @ Jets: JetsChiefs @ Steelers: SteelersEagles @ Buccaneers: EaglesColts @ Washington: WashingtonCardinals @ Rams: RamsLions @ 49ers: 49ersRaiders @ Broncos: BroncosPatriots @ Jaguars: JaguarsGiants @ Cowboys: GiantsSeahawks @ Bears: Bears
