PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said theres still pain two weeks after undergoing surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee, but he isnt ruling himself out of Sundays game at Baltimore.You have surgery two weeks ago, theres going to be a little bit (of pain), Roethlisberger said.But listen, anybody in this locker room whos not feeling pain hasnt been on the football field. When I feel healthy and ready to go, Ill be ready.Roethlisberger said the decision on whether or not he can play will be made by coach Mike Tomlin. Swelling has not been an issue so far though Roethlisberger will continue to remain in contact with team physician Dr. James Bradley and monitor his knee as he ramps up his workload.Dr. Bradley said Ive gone through this before so my body will tell me best how I feel, Roethlisberger said.Roethlisberger injured his left knee during a loss against Miami and was initially expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks following the surgery. He underwent surgery the following day and missed a home loss against New England the next Sunday, though he jogged onto the field to greet his defensive teammates and was spotted walking in the locker room without a limp.Roethlisberger began throwing passes during individual portions of practice two days later, just eight days after surgery. He practiced some with the first team and scout team on Monday, two weeks after his procedure, and again on Wednesday.Im not sure how he feels, but he looked good, offensive lineman Ramon Foster said. His health and how hes feeling, were going to determine that at the rest of the week, but he looked like Ben.The Steelers will go with fourth-year veteran Landry Jones if Roethlisberger cant play. Basically, what they did was put them (the holes) in higher areas... Like No. 8 ... No. 10. I dont know why, I looked at the... Collins: On No. 10, they didnt move the hole location. They had it wrong on the pin sheet! Caddie: Oh, is that the thing? Because that was where the hole was today -- what was on the original pin sheet yesterday. Collins: Ooooh, so they put Saturdays hole location on Fridays pin sheet! Because the first group that played yesterday on No. 10... Caddie: Yeah, Colt (Knost) was in it, and he claims (trails off), but you can see! You can clearly see if the pin was right or left! You can see from the tee box, I got there... Caddie#2 (whos been eavesdropping): Yeah, but heres the thing, (looks at me) plug your ears! He (Colt Knost) is only 5-foot-1!Collins: What do caddies normally do during delays like this? Caddie: Sit around and eat! Yeah, a lot of eating and a lot of storytelling. Just do whatever you can to kill time. Maybe FaceTime or call the family? They were on 18, you see Russell Knox tap out (finish the hole), Leishmans got about a 10-footer, and they blow the horn! You see Russell Knox throw his putter and youre like, Whats he upset about?
