Its not often Maryland can say it has something in common with Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska.Like those standard bearers of college football, the Terrapins are still unbeaten this season. Since Marylands 7-0 start in 2001, the Terrapins have taken a perfect record into their fifth game only in 2013 and this season. No one is pulling harder for first-year coach DJ Durkin -- at least until their teams meet Nov. 5 -- than Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh. Durkin was a Harbaugh assistant for three years at Stanford and was his defensive coordinator with the Wolverines last season.Harbaugh said Tuesday hes been following the Terps progress and has watched three of their games. He said hes spoken with Durkin a couple times since the season started, usually on matters only coaches would find interesting.Hes busy doing his duties and Im busy doing mine, Harbaugh said, but were watching with a lot of pride what hes doing and very proud of the job hes doing.Maryland, which puts its 4-0 record on the line this week at Penn State, already has one more win than it had all of last season. Two more wins will make the Terps bowl eligible. Their 173 points are a program record for four games, and their 50-7 win over Purdue last week was their most lopsided conference victory since 2010.The biggest difference from 2015 to 2016?The Terps have turned over the ball twice. Last year at this point they had 14 turnovers, including 12 interceptions.Durkin said he addressed the turnover issue the first day he met with the team. Its just been a process of talking about it, teaching our players just how the game works and how a turnover can really kill you -- how a punt is not a bad play, he said. Taking a sack or throwing it away isnt all bad if you go punt and play good defense. You may have been won yourself some field position.Marylands schedule gets increasingly tougher, with November featuring road games against Michigan and Nebraska and a home game against Ohio State.Other notes from the Big Ten coaches teleconference:HEALING HUSKERSNebraska coach Mike Riley, whose team has a bye this week, said receiver Jordan Westerkamp (back) and tight end Cethan Carter (elbow) probably will miss the Oct. 15 game at Indiana.Running back Devine Ozigbo probably wont practice this week as he recovers from an ankle sprain. Riley said hes hopeful offensive lineman Tanner Farmer and receiver Alonzo Moore will be back from injuries that kept them out of the Illinois game.BARRETTS FAST ASCENTWith four touchdown passes against Rutgers, Ohio States J.T. Barrett became the schools all-time leader with 59. Barrett also has 84 TDs responsible for and needs five more passing or rushing touchdowns to break Braxton Millers record of 88.Barrett, a junior, has played in 27 games and started 21.This is only his second year, maybe 2 + years, of full-time starting, Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer said. He would be the first to tell you hes been very fortunate to be around very good players and a very offensive line that protects him and guys that make plays. When you think of the history of this great university, and he could be No. 1, thats incredible.LAGOWS COMPOSUREIndiana coach Kevin Wilson was heartened by quarterback Richard Lagows bounce-back from his five-interception game against Wake Forest. The Big Tens passing yardage leader was picked off once against Michigan State but led touchdown drives on the Hoosiers last three series in regulation in a 24-21 overtime victory. He lost his composure in the fourth quarter (against Wake Forest), and that hurt us with his body language. You cant be a leader if you cant lead yourself, Wilson said. He got into a competitive game and got in a similar situation and got it corrected against a very challenging team in Michigan State. What I saw last week was a guy who got into position where he could have lost his composure and he kept it.--Online:AP college football website: http://collegefootball.ap.org Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra Baratas . Denis Coderre, the former federal MP who was elected mayor on Nov. 3, has drawn the ire of some Montreal Canadiens. During last nights game he tweeted: "Hello? Can we get a one-way ticket to (minor-league) Hamilton for David Desharnais please.ARDMORE, Pa. -- Third place at the Masters. Tied for second at the U.S. Open. And thats just this year. Jason Days too young to get saddled with that dreaded Best Player Never To Win a Major label, so he might as well go ahead and win one. "As long as I keep knocking on the door," he said Sunday, "I think Ill win a major here soon." It sure looks inevitable after watching him this week at Merion Golf Club. Rounds of 70, 74, 68 and 71 can be worn liked a badge of honour at a championship in which the winning score was Justin Roses 1-over 281. Day finished two shots back, tied with Phil Mickelson. "At the start of the week everyone thought we were going to rip it up," Day said. "But I just knew that somewhere around even par was going to win it, and I just had to stick in there. So I was very patient with myself and happy with how I handled myself, and now I just got to keep giving myself shots at majors." The 25-year-old Day has played in five majors. Hes finished out of the top 10 only once. The Australian debuted with a tie for 60th at the 2010 British Open. Since then, his record is the envy of many of his colleagues: tied for 10th at the 2010 PGA Championship, tied for second behind champion Charl Schwartzel at the 2011 Masters, outright second behind Rory McIlroy at Congressional in 2011. This year, hes the only player to finish in the top 10 in both majors. Day spent Sunday hovering near the top, unable to break through because he kept cancelling himself out..dddddddddddd. Birdie at No. 4, bogey at No. 5. Birdie at No. 10, bogey at No. 11. He was one off the lead when he got to 18, but he put his approach in the bunker and missed a 5-footer for par. No shame there. No one birdied the finishing hole over the final two rounds. It was the shortest major championship course in nine years, but the scores were typical U.S. Open. "I think that every club in the bag got a workout this week," he said. "So I think that it would be sad for it not to come back (here) to a U.S. Open." His best shot came right after his worst one. He went from rough to creek at No. 11, then nearly put his next shot into the creek as well. But he holed out from the nasty rough for bogey. From there, he had near misses, when he wasnt scrambling: "Nearly made the birdie on 13. ... Nearly holed a good putt on 15. ... Had two good saves on 16 and 17." Too many near misses to win. He probably knew it when he tossed his club after the miss at 13. Or when he put both hands over his head after the miss at 15. All of which means hes still 14 victories behind Tiger Woods when it comes to majors. Day ended his remarks by referencing the worlds No. 1 player. "You got to understand that, late Sunday of a U.S. Open -- and U.S. Open courses are very hard -- you cant do anything but kind of grind (it) out," Day said. "Like Tiger said at the start of the week, you just got to keep grinding those 10 footers and just grind away. So I was happy with how I played."
