The FIA has revised its F1 superlicence points table to include Formula E and V8 Supercars.The addition of both series to the points list means they are considered a viable route in to Formula One by the governing body. All-electric series Formula E, set for the finale of its second season this weekend, ?has been weighted on equal terms to IndyCar, World Endurance Championship (WEC) and European Formula 3.To drive in Formula One, drivers must have accumulated 40 points during the three years preceding his or her application, with the results of a maximum of two championships allowed to be recognised during one calendar year. The champion of Formula E will receive 40 points, with second and third getting 30 and 20 respectively.The FIAs planned F2 championship, which is yet to be launched, still has the highest weighted points, followed by current F1 feeder series GP2.V8 Supercars is further down the list, with the champion only getting 13 points, with the next seven drivers in the standings getting 11, 9, 6, 4, 3, 2 and 1 respectively.
