AUSTIN, Texas -- Lewis Hamilton says he is 100 percent fit ahead of this weekends U.S. Grand Prix despite skipping a tyre test last week with an injured foot.Hamilton was scheduled to test Pirellis 2017 tyres in Barcelona last Wednesday but pulled out at the last minute to rest his foot. He revealed that it was an ongoing injury related to his training regime.I am 100 percent and feeling great, he said. I basically had an injury that Ive been carrying generally all year long, in both feet. Just induced by running.Unfortunately the physio said that it just takes a lot of stretching and it just heals over a long time. At the time I woke up in the morning, I was feeling quite a lot of pain the day before, and it hadnt diminished, so there was very little ... the most important thing was to be fresh for here and feeling better for here. This is actually the first week that its felt good.Hamilton also visited Mercedes factory on Tuesday last week to celebrate the teams third constructors title.Honestly, its kind-of daunting when you go back to the two factories because theres so many people. I remember joining the team and having to stand... theyre like we want to introduce you to everyone, and having to stand in front of 800 people at the first place and then 500 people at the next place and speak to them.Thats always a difficult thing. But then, after youve grown to know everyone and youve gone on the journey that I have with this team and reached the success, its an incredibly proud moment for us to stand up there and show our appreciation -- because those guys are not travelling like us but they are working crazy hours to enable us to get off the line, to be up the front and win these championships. And it takes a huge amount of work for these people to come together and every single individual operate at the best they can possibly do.I remember joining this team and I wouldnt be surprised if it was the majority of the people that were in here, said that it wasnt the right decision. I had the belief that this team would really go somewhere and Ive been a part of that journey and very proud of it. It was incredible. Everyone was just so happy - and now theyre turning all of those energies to next year. Fake Baseball Jerseys .ca! Hi Kerry, Heres an interesting one. I know its common knowledge that all players are responsible for their sticks. We witnessed that when Zack Kassian hit Edmontons Sam Gagner in the face after a missed check. Datsyuk will miss Tuesdays game against New Jersey and could be sidelined longer, while Cleary will likely miss at least the next three games. Its been an injury-plagued season for Datsyuk, who has suited up for just 39 games. Fake Hockey Jerseys . Scott Kazmir allowed four hits in seven shutout innings, Michael Brantley hit a two-run homer in a three-run first inning and the Indians maintained their hold on an AL wild-card spot with a 4-1 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday night. McNair, who was promoted after four seasons as Alcorn States quarterbacks coach and assistant head coach, is the brother of arguably the schools most famous alumni -- quarterback Steve McNair. The Braves have 11 starters returning from last season, including dual-threat quarterback Lenorris Footman, who threw for 1,106 yards and 14 touchdowns last season after taking over for the injured John Gibbs Jr. He was also second on the team with 1,023 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns. The good thing is hes won a lot of games and has a SWAC championship under his belt, Fred McNair said. Now he just needs to be a little more consistent with his passing.Alcorn States defense will be anchored by defensive lineman Stacey Garner, a first-team All-SWAC selection who had 16+ tackles for a loss in 2015.THE FAVORITESEast: Alcorn State still looks like the team to beat, even with a new coach. Footman gained valuable experience last season and theres enough continuity in the coaching staff to make for a smooth transition. Alabama State and Jackson State should be the main challengers.West: Grambling and Prairie View A&M were the class of the West last season, with Grambling winning the division by a game. Look for another two-team race again, though Southern could be ready to rise thanks to an experienced offense.TOP PLAYERSKourtney Berry, LB, Alabama State: The SWACs defensive player of the year last season had 130 tackles.Lenard Tillery, RB, Southern:: He was named the SWACs preseason offensive player of the year after running for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.ddddddddddddNEW FACESTony Hughes, Jackson State: Hughes, who was an assistant at Mississippi State before taking the Jackson State job, inherits a team that finished with a 3-8 record in 2015. There is some talent on the roster, including defensive star Javancy Jones and quarterback LaMontiez Ivy.Michael Haywood, Texas Southern: The Tigers are trying to rebuild with first-year coach Haywood after a 3-7 record in 2015. Haywood most recently coached at Miami of Ohio, where he quickly turned around the program and won 10 games in 2010. He was then hired to coach at Pittsburgh, but was fired less than three weeks later after he was arrested and charged with domestic battery with a child present. The charges were ultimately dropped.ON THE HOT SEATRick Comegy, Mississippi Valley: Comegy is an accomplished coach and Mississippi Valley is a tough job, but this is his third season and the Delta Devils need to show improvement over last seasons 1-10 mark.James Spady, Alabama A&M: Spady is just 7-16 entering his third season. The Bulldogs allowed 35.2 points per game last year but return eight defensive starters.PICKS:Alcorn State still looks like the class of the Western Division.
